Gaisford Surf Supporting Help For Heroes

Gaisford Surf Equipment is proud to be supporting Pete Lumley and his Help for Heroes project by supplying him with a Rescue Board. Pete’s plans are for a fund raising endurance challenge as described :-

“This Endurance Event is something I will be doing Solo with the assistance of a small support team. It’s not a race – more an “Endurance Event with teeth” – as it has recently been described. We aim to seek as much publicity and some generous donations for this deserving charity from now through to the start of the event – and as it continues. This endeavour will include Rescue Board Paddling from Sennen to St Marys as part of a ‘John O’Groats to Lands End’ event that will also include Paddle boarding both Loch Ness and various other Lakes and Coastal Waters next July/August, alongside swimming the same distance. We believe this will inspire others to follow suit – which would be superb as it should appeal to those wanting to squeeze that little bit more out of their appetite for endurance events.”
